Depression is the most expensive medical cost for businesses. It is approximately 70% higher than costs associated with diabetes, which is the next highest cost.



Business Leaders are Concerned
about Rising Health Care Costs

The Business Roundtable, which is a business coalition of 160 mostly Fortune 200 Corporate CEOs, released a survey in mid-February of 2005 in which CEO’s were asked, “What is your company’s greatest concern?”

The top three concerns are:

              Health Care Costs: 43%
              Litigation Costs: 20%
              Energy Prices: 19%
